I like to make suggestions I hope will help the artist improve his or her craft. But I got nothin'. This is just perfect.
And it's me, yesterday morning. Tough getting started for the workweek, I guess.

Nice work. Love all the details (bee patterned blanket and bunny slippers).

Thanks for the comments and votes! Hoping I hit triple digits with this one (crossing fingers)

The whole spring forward time change leaves me feeling like this bear... though I love the fall back time change

d'Ya know... I voted for this design because it makes a great statement anyone can relate to, and it definitely caught my state of mind on those days. But the bunny slippers were the only thing I didn't care for. Odd how that works. I thought they were too animated and took away from the bear. I'd have preferred their eyes were dead doll eyes, so there was no implication that the bear wore live bunnies for slippers.
And while I'm doing the stream-of-consciousness thing - Woot? Ruling? I know bunnies are allowed this derby, but would bunny slippers get a DQ in the future. Just something we should know...

Speaking of things being DQed, wouldn't the exclamation point in this design be considered text?

I was going by "Pictionary" rules that allow you to do punctuation for effects but no written words. Not sure how an alarm going off would look... stars?

The bunny slippers were meant to be secondary to the bear and I think they are (the shirt comp has the detail to show that the brown has a screen tone and isn't a 7th color). If you saw only the shirt I think the bunnies would be less of a focal point.

The design actually started with me wanting to draw an alarm clock that had the seasons instead of numbers... everything else came after that. Still think that might've been a neato image if I'd did that alone... maybe next time!

(snip)

Exclamation point has been considered text in the past. Not sure why this one escaped. If you want alarm, try a "spider-sense tingling" motif.
