Re: Poo-too-weet
Happily revoted for this one. If it doesn't get a win or Editors Choice, please keep us informed when it prints somewhere else.

Re: Poo-too-weet
This has to get an EC! I NEEEEEED IT!
Re: Poo-too-weet
It would be a crime if this doesn't print. GMV again.
Re: Poo-too-weet
YES PLEASE!
Re: Poo-too-weet
Even though I don't understand this, I love the design. I hope this prints.

There was a very academic (and literature based!!!) conversation about the meaning in the original thread which I too many cookies to look for. Anyone want to help a brotha out?

Here is bluejester's interpretation:
It's actually cool, artsy and brilliant all at once, but I didn't get it at first blush either, here is my attempt to break it down.
Every living thing in this design has a colored beam of light by it. The bird, the girl, the cat, even the bug has a distinct color shining in it. However, the bug and the cat are sedintary and the girl--who should be active and involved in life--is playing with the non-living electronic thing. But the robot, who apparently has no unique color because he is not "alive" is taking in the moment and admiring the bird, which is also the only other active "living" thing in this piece. (It beautifully contrats the girl's lack of taking part in life)
It's a bit of a heady shirt if my interpretation is right. It is totally on theme, and I will totally buy this and frame it if it wins.

Re: Poo-too-weet
Yup. Still love it.
Just a hint to get started: Kurt Vonnegut
Re: Poo-too-weet
please please please woot(yeah, all ya'll) vote and get this printed. or an EC if all else fails.
Re: Poo-too-weet
it's so awesome!
I wanted this shirt so badly during it's initial challenge, and I want it so badly still. If it doesn't print during this double take, and it doesn't get an EC, then please print it somewhere else, so I can give you my hard earned money for your amazing design and I can put this in my closet and wear it around and explain it to people all the time...
:-)

I second this! Most times people just get a good chuckle out of my woot shirts or think that they are cool. It'd be neat to have them both think that it was the coolest thing that they'd seen in a while AND wonder what the heck it all meant.
Re: Poo-too-weet
EC THIS WOOT. so good.
Re: Poo-too-weet
This is a great shirt, and I feel so bad for not giving it a chance in the original derby (I should be able to vote twice for that). I'm with the rest that are hoping for EC, or a print elsewhere.
This has to get an EC, right? I mean, there's no way it doesn't.
Re: Poo-too-weet
If this doesn't print here, I would totally buy it somewhere else for a little more. It's absolutely brilliant!

I've read most of his books and I obviously recognize the title of the shirt from his stuff, but I can't figure out if there are any references to his stuff in the shirt. Of course, I'm also sleep deprived at the moment. Anyone want to let me in on it?

Background is Dresden. Light sources come from Vonnegut character.
