very nice boots! was definitely tough to make a science experiment "wearable" this week, but you pulled it off.

Yo, someone get that kid a blanket, he's got hypothermia! Or he's a smurf.

Lovely design, Boots! My monitor's a little wonky, is this navy or black?

This week we want to see designs carrying on the tradition of middle school science with your depictions of the theories explored, science fair experiments themselves, or maybe just the chemical or physical processes involved.

So your theory explored is rainbows and clouds in a glass? Are you promoting alcohol or DRUGS or both?

I thought you were a better artist than that and I still don't see the relevance to a science fair.
No go ESPECIALLY when you're designing for a MIDDLE SCHOOL science fair!
Rethink your promo and pull this entry....please.

This is by far my favorite shirt in the derby. Great take on a rather tough theme.

Lol! I think you're just messing with me, but just in case... "Sky in a Jar" is a really common middle school science project. It's one that you often see at a science fair. See links up above.

And wait. I have a promo? That's neat. I hope it's action packed with lots of explosions and some slow motion running. ;)

Gorgeous. If I saw this shirt, I would think "sky in a jar" which would immediately bring to mind the science experiment. I agree with skirochester, you made a very wearable shirt that beautifully fulfills this week's tough derby theme.

I think this is a neat illustration of the idea behind the experiment. And as I mentioned in another thread, I'm a sucker for rainbows.

Boots kicking goals again (see what I did there). This works well as an image over and above the derby theme and apparently makes for an intriguing social commentary on drug and alcohol use. GMV

Glad to know I'm not the only one who doesn't see the connection to a science fair here. Still can't figure out why this and a few others weren't pulled that are currently in the fog---waste of another week.

if rainbows and clouds are Boot's depiction of a popular science experiment, I see no reason why his entry should be pulled out of the derby.

Glad to see some people are so concerned that they will post without reading the several posts on top of theirs that answer their concerns.

At first I thought this shirt was on asphalt and thought what a GREAT color to put it on, but I see that it is actually navy, thanks for clearing that up...bummed about the shirt color, but it's still oh so happy (also, I "got" it right away...don't understand the difficulty here) Love your style BootsBoots!

If this prints I'd love to get a couple for my little nieces to wear. It's very pretty and maybe I can trick them into liking science!

I completely agree. If this doesn't win, it has to go up on another site. I want one so badly.
