Re: Kingfisher rules over the fishes

Kingfishers are birds that really do fish. They are colorful birds in Europe and Asia, and are not as big as you would think- only the size of a sparrow!

This one is modeled after the one found in India... hope you like! It was a blast drawing and coloring.

Your portrayal of the Indian variety looks rather tribal, like with facepaint. Nevertheless, G'job ^^

In the real world the fish would never look him in the face. OFF WITH THEIR HEADS!

I concur!

Sigh. It was fun being in the fog while it lasted. But as the only non-halftoned design, it was inevitable that it would not last. I appreciate all the great comments on this design- it was a lot of fun in the making, which is what counts most.

Mine doesn't have any half tones (I'm not huge into lots of toning either, I think it sometimes distracts from nice line art)

Yours is awesome, btw. I love the expressions of the animals. I didn't check your design for the longest time since all I saw was the princess in the thumbnail. You have a wonderful history of cool animals (my favorite is teh zombie mouse).

Thanks! Yeah, silly is 95% of my design inspirations.

This is the closest shirt to the fog that I would buy. Great design. Just really Battlefield Earth (2000) shirts getting in the fog lately. Is there a place that the majority of woot shirts go that dont win?
