I really hope not. There's been enough of this already, and it was bad. Needs a better concept before anyone starts with the base idea again, and I'm not only talking about this design.

I like it. It's obviously a bold design if you're willing to trash it. I doubt it's political other than maybe the decay of that particular model. The hammer and sickle look to have seen better days.
