I like this, but you might be violating the pop culture rule with the Neverland reference. I'm voting and we'll see.

Great job on coming up with that many ideas that are immediately recognizable and strongly identify with a country. But Ireland sold it for me.

Is it just me, or is a potato masher to represent Ireland a little offensive?

Potato masher? Huh, I though it was a bottle opener.

I tend to think of pop culture as current things. Peter Pan and Neverland are over a century old, so I wouldn't call it pop culture. Classic children's literature, maybe.

I really, really, really like this shirt! In for two if it prints. One for me and one for my pirate obsessed sister.

Thanks for the feedback! I don't think the potato masher is offensive - my Irish friends just eat a lot of potatoes.

BEST SHIRT EVER! You should really go into business making your own shirts. I hear silk screening is pretty easy to do

The perfect appliance to answer the question,"What is an Irish seven course meal?"

Offensive how? Ireland is known for potatoes, it's a fact.

There's nothing about this design that's not exactly as it should be. From the font to the framing, to the background and the woodcut style of the various hooks - it just screams 'win' to me. Excellent work!

Also Vikings, and trees. Remember these are evokative of what popular culture (and most americans) think of when they see the country name.

Also, Congraduations on being in the both the top 9 "last shirt submitted' and top 9 "best shirts in derby" a rare feat indeed!

Why would you single out the potato masher as the only potentially offensive one? They're all pretty stereotypical (and hilariously so). Italians eat pasta! The English drink tea! The French love wine!

This is awesome! I don't usually wear such big designs but I really enjoy this (hint, hint, woot!, this would be a great poster)

AHH! A corkscrew! I couldn't figure out the French one before, so thank you.

I think adding Neverland actually gives it a greater sense of whimsy that makes the silly hook designs make MORE sense... if THAT makes sense. I like it.

I don't understand how this is "pirate hooks of the WORLD". More like "Europe and this imaginary place".
