These days, it's nearly impossible to get into the Evil industry without formal training.
It's true, the Evil industry just isn't what it used to be. In the 50s you could go from high school straight into being evil without so much as a portfolio review. The Evil industry was in its infancy and there were opportunities for all types of villains to carve out their niche. Now of course with unions and regulations the Evil jobs certainly pay better- but they are much harder to get. Still, if you have a real talent for being evil, the investment in education is worth it. And if it doesn't work out you can always go back to law school.
