Strange colour combination though. XP

I like the colors. It's very glowy and you don't see those two colors together very much.

it's a very classic color combo:
Ties look slick, Baby Rooms look muted and soft, even Wedding Cakes look very high end in the color combo. I think it works very well.
He certainly looks dapper in it ;)

Although I obviously can't prove that my sketch existed far before I saw Sekiyoku's entry for this week, you'll have to take my word for it. I had company yesterday, and my wisdom teeth were removed this morning, so this design was a little late in production. Composition-wise, I can see how you would make the connection, and I had my own qualms about submitting my version due to a shocking number of submissions along the same line. However, stylistically, they all diverge radically, so I eventually sent it through. I guess it's simply the case of similarities within flowing designs!

In other news, I'm glad you guys approve of the bizarre color choice. Thanks to those who helped me choose! Also, heartluce-- I'm glad to "see" you as well. I've been away for quite a while, but it's finally winter break! So I'm alive again. And a belated thank you to those who commented on my last design (which I didn't get to comment on).

No, it doesn't.

Actually, since you're bringing that up, Sekiyoku's butterfly looks mysteriously similar to Mitohapa's printed "Against the Sky" shirt here.

Ok, I take it back. 'Tis a classic colour combination. Looks good either way. ^^

I was just about to type that before I saw your comment, Artulo.
I agree that they look nothing alike and this has been Mito's style for a long time.... Mito, hope you feel better. Wisdom teeth pulling is not fun ( or rather having them pulled :D). Ouch!

If it's good enough for Dr. Who, it's good enough for me. The color combo that is.

It was sold way back in June-- so something of an "out of sight, out of mind design". Either way, while some similarities are a little unnerving, I'm almost positive any resemblance between AtS and Sekiyoku's butterfly is purely by chance.

...good to know me'n Dr. Who are chilling with the same color scheme. (I was not expecting people to pay so my attention to the color! Guess it's more unusual around woot than I thought it was.)

I love the colors!
Initially I questioned whether I'm manly enough to wear the colors, but then realized that yesterday I wore my pink-and-baby blue "From the Sink" shirt, so I guess this is good, too

great design, gmv`

God you have been busy! Another cool design. Although I like your rose one better, but you can't blame me on that one just look at the colors... But I like the placement/composition on the shirt in this design a lot.

Wisdom teeth removed... we're gonna need to see pictures of that one... the community has a right to see you know!

Re: Heron Rising

The colors are just awesome. It sort of reminds me when you would do that glowing crayon trick. You know, when you draw a really thick crayon rainbow and then cover it in a thick layer of black crayon? Then you scratch out a picture? This is what that reminds me of. Haha, for some reason.

It's beautiful is what I'm trying to say. :P
