Re: Ophthalmophobia

"Ophthalmophobia" - Fear of being stared at. An irrational fear in which it can seem like every person, every window, and then some, are just a pair of eyes that exist to relentlessly watch you.

Another collaboration between my sister (Stargaziey) and myself. She supplied the artistic talents, and I supplied the concept.

Here's a larger version.

I like the concept but it reminds me of ZOX a bit too much... is it a homage?

I've never seen that before. :o I'm assuming my brother hasn't because he would have shown me the image if it was his source of inspiration or if he thought our image came out close to one he was familiar with.

In all honestly, my brother's original concept didn't even have a moon in it. As I was working on it, I thought a moon would be a good addition since the scene was meant to be at night & the concept of the moon also glaring at the 'phobe would be interesting.

Thanks for pointing out the image to us, for now we'll keep it as is & hope it doesn't get rejected.

Thanks. I've never heard of ZOX before now, actually. Not too worried, it looks different enough since wavy buildings aren't much of an original concept when it comes to delusional visualizations. The moon is a bit iffy, but I don't know. We'll leave it up to woot to decide if it's too close. Thanks for pointing it out!
