Re: Tick-Tack-Toe

This is my super-simple entry this week. I will be doing another one, but I liked this idea enough that I didn't want to waste it.

Maybe the thumbnail image should be called a toenail image??

Well crap.

I guess it's a pretty easy idea to come by.

Simple and simply good, and also a fairly overt message inviting people to stab you. Looking forward to more.

I was half way through doing a very similar design. But I got bitten by the abstract bug and went a totally different direction this time. I love simple to. Nice job

Edison Plays Dirty STAFF: Well, I tried. Looks like the image won't stay until you buy something. Still, please don't post your derby entry in the body of posts.

Re: Tick-Tack-Toe

not to be a "stickler" (see what I did there?), but I usually call the middle item a push pin. A tack, to me, would be more of a carpet tack or a little nail (brad). Or maybe even horse equipment, often referred to as "tack".

just kidding, Chris! this is simple and clever

Really like this. The composition is fantastic--the design pulls the eye along very well to present the joke.

That's one heck of a long toe... thought it was a finger at first. Clever otherwise, though!

The only thing that ticks me off is that the thumbnail is a bit tacky.

Re: Tick-Tack-Toe

Great idea Chris. However, i don't think this is a design I would ever want on a shirt. Sure, its simple and easy to understand, but there is something about it that just makes it kind of ... bla.

I guess it's just me. I'll be eagerly waiting for your second entry this week.

Re: Tick-Tack-Toe

Hah, well I laughed.

I'd like it better if it were cleaner, just the chalk lines without the blurry halftone smudges. It's a simple design and I think the blurry white in the back takes away from the nice simplicity.

Can't believe this is still fogging. I certainly didn't expect it. It was just a silly idea I wanted to try out. Thanks for the votes, everyone!

I looked up ticks after reading this and just decided I dislike ticks as much as I dislike spiders... And thats a lot
