Re: Fluid Dynamics
Every week.
I sort shirts by votes.
I glance at thumbnails.
I click on favorite shirt.
I see artist name "patrickspens"
How do you DO that?!
Re: Fluid Dynamics
Nicely done - it's so cool when fluids render out realistically. You might like to gander at this. An artist friend of mine, and she rocks!
+1

Same thing often happens to me. I just did it today! Nice design patrick!
Re: Fluid Dynamics
Funny. We just started the fluid dynamics chapter today in class. I guess it's true - you can't escape the physics, not even on Woot.
Anyway, great design!! Love the details on the marble, especially :D
Re: Fluid Dynamics
Patrickspens is a beast. Chalk up another derby print.

My first shirt I bought on here was designed by you, Patrick. I do enjoy your style. Yet again, nice design ![]()
Re: Fluid Dynamics
I have looked at the derby each week since I joined Woot, and I have voted for my favorite shirts. I have never felt the need to leave a comment.
Now I do. All that I have to say, though, is that I love this shirt. Fantastic work.
Re: Fluid Dynamics
I love this but beware, stupid little cartoon animals abound...

Ditto to that.
Your shirts are always top-notch artwork. GMV.

YAR! I must own this shirt! +1
Re: Fluid Dynamics
Wow, very nice. This looks similar to a series of stock illustrations on istockphoto.com. Did you do those too?

Ditto. ("They call me Tim" was my first!) I dig this one... nice work as usual!

I can't tell if you're accusing Patrick of artistic plagiarism or not, but he's about the last artist I would suspect of stealing ideas.
As for the design itself, this is ultra cool. I have not been overly impressed with some of his recent entries, but I love this one.
Re: Fluid Dynamics
Wwwaaa, i going to buy this as soon as it gets into the reckoning.
Good job!
Re: Fluid Dynamics
This is beautiful. The math isn't as obvious either, which is different and refreshing. But mostly beautiful. If I bought this, I would frame it... With my body.

I wasn't accusing him of plagiarism. I had used one of the stock illustrations the other day and this design made me think of it. Thought maybe he submitted at both sites- I do. No offense intended.
Re: Fluid Dynamics
Beautifully done.
Re: Fluid Dynamics
Seriously beautiful!
Re: Fluid Dynamics
Another vote for patrickspens and hopefully another print.
Re: Fluid Dynamics
As almost always, Patrickpens, a genuine step up in class over the rest.
stunning artistry! this could hang in a gallery!
Re: Fluid Dynamics
i knew from the thumbnail, this was patrickspens.
never a disappointment
Re: Fluid Dynamics
I'm not understanding the physics connection to this? But I love the design. GMV

What am I staring at?

I think its a black marble with an orange swirl inside.

Re: Fluid Dynamics
Beautiful design featuring luminosity? Must be patrickspens. Another vote from me.
