Actually the house-animals-in-their-scarves is too basic an idea to say it's a copy methinks.

House animals in scarves is one thing.. house animals in scarves that look EXACTLY like Ramyb's linked shirt is an entirely different beast.

Hm...I'd have to agree that they are a little similar, but it's not like you can't draw the house animals in their scarves. It's just a shame that the the styles are also similar.

Regardless of the style, the fact remains, a similar [Woot] shirt already exists:

I'm not implying that the idea can't be used, just that the manner in which it's used is extremely similar.
...EXTREEEEEEEMELY.

Wow, I actually didn't notice until I saw this link, but I just looked up the crests of each house and drew those.

I thought you were being a little extreme until I looked at the birds. The lions are a bit similar and snakes are pretty basic so I could overlook those, but the birds look almost identical. It's pretty suspicious, I hate to say. It doesn't help that it's the kind of badger in Ramyb's shirt which is not the kind of badger that's in the UK (although I can see how someone who is from somewhere that doesn't have badgers might be more familiar with the honey badger because of the intarwebz and just assumed that all badgers looked like that).

Well, regardless of how similar the shirt looks to other shirts, I'm more surprised by the fact that someone was born in '97 and was able to use this as a theme. I feel ancient now. Was in 7th grade by the time they got to the US...

I like the actual design, but I'm not sure how willing Woot would be to do a second shirt with a similar design. They've sold the animals in scarves shirt once before already.

Why is no one else commenting on how old they feel on this one? 97 - just wow!

I thought the colors for the house of Ravenclaw were blue and bronze?

I'm gonna get my nerd on hat on to agree here, but also point out that blue/silver-gray is also acceptable due to the movie.
