Derby #166: Things That Start With the Letter C
Hey, this Derby's over. When you're finished reliving past glories, check out what's going on in the Derby right now. It's probably even cooler. Or at least newer.
What better subject for our third letter derby than the third letter of the alphabet? Descendant of gimel, strongly rooted in Celtic language, and mishmashed in the Normal Conquest, Old English, Middle English, French, and just about anywhere else they have Cs. Show us your interpretation of the letter that doesn't appear in the spellings of English numbers. Maybe you'll reference Carbon. Maybe 100 Romans. Maybe a musical scale or a programming language. Maybe something original, even. Keep in mind though, that C also stands for "copyrighted," so don't go bogartin' someone else's work. And while you're at it, follow these rules as well:
No text. But if you want to use images to suggest the shape of a letter C, fine.
Things that start with C in languages other than English are allowed. Be prepared to prove it. No Klingon, either.
No video games.
No Star Wars.
No comic book characters.
No trespassing. A totally random rule from a totally random Woot staffer totally randomly-named Gatzby.
