Derby #207: Things That Start With The Letter O
Hey, this Derby's over. When you're finished reliving past glories, check out what's going on in the Derby right now. It's probably even cooler. Or at least newer.
It's time to go back to the alphabetic well, and this week we want to see how the fifteenth letter of the modern Latin alphabet inspires you. It's the fourth most commonly-used letter in the English language, after all, and one of the most common characters in all the alphabets. So give us your best O-inspired designs: the primary subject matter of your shirt MUST start with the letter O. It;ll be more fun if you pack as many O-things in your design as possible but it's not a requirement. Now for the rules:
No text. But if you want to use images to suggest the shape of the letter O, that's fine. We look forward to your O-shaped opera of ostriches in the Orpheum.
Things that start with the letter O in languages other than English are allowed. Be prepared to prove it's a real word and actually spoken by real people.
Introducing the Mystery Icon! We're thinking of a specific design element - a person, a place, a thing, an idea. The first contestant to use this Mystery Icon in an entry for this Derby will receive a Woot! screaming monkey, whether they like it or not.
