Derby #227: Sci-Fi Kawaii
Hey, this Derby's over. When you're finished reliving past glories, check out what's going on in the Derby right now. It's probably even cooler. Or at least newer.
If we had to try and nail down what our audience likes most based on what they buy, we figure it would come down to cute things and geeky sci-fi stuff. Being the shameless t-shirt salesmen that we are, we figured why not combine the two into a wonderful "you got chocolate in my peanut butter!" kind of amalgamation? This week, give us your cutest riff on sci-fi tropes. Whether your characters are exploring space or living in a three-dimensional computerized world or trying to prevent some sort of horrible genetic mutation from terrorizing the population, just make sure it's cute. Now for the rules:
- Go nuts. Seriously. Text, pop-culture, all that stuff is fair game. BUT be warned, we want to see ORIGINAL ideas, not "Captain Picard with button eyes." If you decide to riff on someone else's existing work, you risk rejection.
