Derby #23: The Big Do-Over
Hey, this Derby's over. When you're finished reliving past glories, check out what's going on in the Derby right now. It's probably even cooler. Or at least newer.
Derby #23: The Big Do-Over
If we had a nickel for every Derby entry we've liked that didn't win, we could afford to buy one of our own t-shirts. Rather than leave these underappreciated gems buried under a mound of electronic flotsam, we dug up 200 or so for this "best of the rest" Derby. Instead of new entries, this week we'll re-nominate those from Derbies 1 through 22 that we think deserve a second look. Think of it as a runoff for the runners-up, when the also-rans run again. Think of it as a heartwarming holiday lesson in redemption and apparel. Think of it as a week off for you, the designer, to re-electrify the creative dynamo in your mind. Your regularly scheduled Derby will return next week - until then, vote for your favorite near-misses of 2007.This week, the "Tattle" button is no good for reporting entries for being "off-theme" - trust us, they're all on-theme. But feel free to use it to report other possible issues (like one of these designs being sold somewhere else, or sending a coded message to America's enemies).
Finally, we've changed the default sort order for viewing entries. For this week only, they'll be displayed randomly instead of by date entered, so entries from last week won't have an unfair advantage. You can click the "Date" button to sort them by date, if that's how you get your jollies, sicko.
