As long as humans have walked the Earth, a few of us have scribbled on it with a rock or spray can or Sharpie. From graffiti-artists-turned-fine-artists like Banksy, Basquiat, and Haring, to the crudest joke on the men's room wall, to the incisive billboard remixes of today's culture jammers, graffiti is the mustache pencilled onto the face of Western culture, the inked-out teeth of our social history. This week, instead of defacing private property with your illicit scribbles, deface a shirt instead.
