Derby #25: Citizenship

Hey, you're not the only one who lives around here, you know. This city and country and world weren't made for your personal enjoyment. How about pulling your weight for once? How about making a t-shirt about doing your civic duty? We'd all be worse off without good citizens like Martin Luther King, and countless others whose birthdays we don't celebrate. Now's a good time to think about what that means. We're not looking for political statements here, just an examination of the idea that maybe, just maybe, we all owe each other a little effort now and then, a little consideration, a little participation in our communities. Give us a civics lesson in wearable graphic form.

No text this time. We'd rather not sell three slogan shirts next weekend.

And absolutely no anti-immigrant messages, please. That's not the sense of "citizenship" we have in mind. Let's not get into a whole big thing here, OK?
